Rent Guarantee and Legal Expenses Cover - What price peace of mind?

Letting a property is not an exact science. References provide a background history, but only a crystal ball can see the future performance of a tenant. Circumstances change, redundancies, shorter term contracts, illness, failed relationships happen to the "best" of tenants and any of these events can trigger a lapse in rent payments.

Bad tenants can be very expensive! Loss of rent, dilapidations and prohibitive legal fees are prime areas of concern for new and experienced landlords. Reputable letting agents generally offer their clients a Rent Guarantee and or Legal Expenses insurance policy.
